Brazilian Jiu Jitsu serves as a contrasting counterpart to Kyokushin Karate classes. This grappling style combines aspects of Judo, Japanese Jujitsu and freestyle wrestling.
Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (BJJ) is likened to a chess game where students manipulate opponents joints and limbs to induce submission or avoid injury. The sport emphasizes technique over power, making it suitable for women and children. RMA is affiliated with Professor Anthony Perosh, a retired UFC fighter with extensive BJJ experience under Master Carlos Machado.
